An absolute classic Art Deco watch, from a top brand in the period, this platinum ladies Longines has the right look too.  Model reference N13077.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1934.

CONDITION

The Art Deco period created style icons all over the world, and they still look great today.  This watch would have graced the wrist of a wealthy person back then, and wouldn’t it be great to know who that was!  The hinged case is made from solid platinum, 950 grade, and despite the petite size it contains a manual wind movement.  The front of the case has a line of eight diamonds running down the centre, and four black stones flanking the diamonds.  They might be Jet or Onyx, or possibly something else.   That tiny movement has seventeen jewels and has been oiled.  The dial is clean for a watch of this period too, but reading the time requires concentration due to the size of the watch.  The leather strap is new.  The watch is signed on the dial, case and movement.

This watch will be supplied with our branded and reusable zipped travel case and cleaning cloth, and our Certificate of Authenticity.

Please see the HD video for more detail.  All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned.  We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.
