This watch has a lot of positives for the money.  An all stainless steel case, reliable automatic mechanical movement and Citizen bracelet.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in February 1981.

CONDITION

The watch is all running perfectly well.  The 8200A 21 jewel movement has quick set for both day and date (with the day in what we believe to be Arabic, and English), and you just flick the crown to change the day.  This is shown on the video.  The black dial is good, with applied hour markers and CITIZEN logo combined with printed minute ring.  The hour and minute hand look original, but the second hand is gold coloured and we are not sure if that is original or a replacement.  The case has just a few marks, but is unpolished and overall very good.  The bracelet is likewise, and has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.  The acrylic crystal has also been polished, so is now free from any damage.

This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.

Please see the HD video for more detail.  All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned.  We do not photoshop any images, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.
