HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1975. It was then sold in 1977, as the paperwork shows. Either year is a valid birth year watch.
CONDITION
Complete with the original box and sales paperwork (but not the Omega guarantee), this is a great find. This style of watch wears larger than most of this period, and suits modern tastes. The Omega bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath, and shows few marks for its years. The clasp shuts tightly, as it should. The automatic 1022 movement with quick set date is running sweetly, and the crown is original. The case back has been engraved quite deeply. The crystal is a later one and has just a couple of small chips towards the bottom of the dial, but the dial is original and undamaged.
This watch will be supplied with the original inner and outer presentation boxes, sales paperwork from 1977 and our Certificate of Authenticity.
