A very original 1972 Omega Geneve with the hand winding Caliber 613 movement.  This watch is still on the original ‘beads of rice’ bracelet.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the in house movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1972.

CONDITION

This watch is highly original – even the crystal appears to be original.  The hand wound cal. 613 movement is quite prized, as in 1973 Omega switched to the 1030 version which was cheaper to make.  The movement is keeping time well, and the quick set date is still working too (you pull the crown to quick set the date).  The Beads of Rice bracelet (numbered 1037 with 199 endlinks) is long and has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath to make it ready to wear.  Some sellers are asking for £300 for this seven link wide bracelet alone.  The dial has some light marks in certain lights, which hopefully the video is better at showing than the photos.  The papers have been lost over the years, but the original case remains with the watch.

6x Signed – on the dial, inside the case back, movement, crystal, crown and bracelet.

This watch will be supplied with a the original Omega presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
