This 1967 Seiko Diashock, model 6119-9990, has a beautiful deep grey dial as well as day date calendar complication.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to being made in September 1967 from the serial number on the watch back.
CONDITION
Quite nice but the design makes it quite difficult to set the time due to a very small crown. The watch has clearly been worn but is not abused in any way. The dial catches the light better than the photos show. Please note that these Seiko movements are only wound by the automatic movement, not by the crown, so once the time is set the new owner can happily wear this without using the fiddly crown.
SIZE
37.7mm wide including the recessed crown, 12.0mm thick. Takes a 19mm strap.
