HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in October 1964.

CONDITION

The main advantage of stainless steel is how well it stands up to the wear and tear of modern life, which is why it is so sort after in vintage watches.  This watch is no exception, with just light surface marks present that show on the enlarged photos far worse than in real life.  The dial on this example is also good, with just wear on the very edge that can not be seen when the watch is cased.  The bracelet is not original, but a nice quality Tessuflex stainless steel one that has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath, so is ready to wear.  A leather band could be easily fitted if preferred.

This watch will be supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
