HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
This model was launched in 2013 in a limited edition to celebrate Tissot’s 160th anniversary in the Heritage range, as it resembles a watch Tissot launched in 1951. The papers are blank, as many unsold watches are, but this would have been made in 2013.
CONDITION
This watch is completely unworn except for photography, and as such is in perfect condition. So this is more of a review.
The white dial version is still available from Tissot for £1,250, but the black dial has completely sold out.
The watch is low and wide – the 43mm case stands just 9.6mm high, so feels quite flat for an automatic. The movement is a conventional 12 hour type, so you use the numbers on the fixed bezel to tell the time rather than the 24 on the dial – they represent the 24 separate time zones. Using any world time watch is just not practical in a world of smartphones, but they do have a look to them. The ETA movement is to COSC standards, so timekeeping will be superb. We do like the use of Tissot’s older logo on the dial and deployant clasp.
