HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in June 2018. The papers are blank and not completed.
CONDITION
It is not clear why Seiko discontinued the SARB range. We have never seen a bad review, and prices are rising now there are no longer available. The SARB035 is often called a baby Grand Seiko, and given the Grand Seiko is nine or ten times the price this is high praise indeed. And justified. The watch this reminds us the most of is actually the Rolex Datejust. It just works well, quietly doing everything superbly. There is a great review on this website that sums things up perfectly.
This SARB 035 has no issues or damage, other than the lightest of wear marks. The automatic 6R15D Seiko movement is all working well, and includes quick set date as well as hacking seconds. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. This colourway also works very well on a tan leather strap – this is the fourth SARB 035 we have offered (as well as the black dialed SARB 033 and the green dialed Alpinist SARB 017 versions) and they never last long in stock.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, blank papers, hangtag and our Certificate of Authenticity.
