The Eterna Eternity dress watch was launched with either Quartz or Automatic movements, and this is the more desirable auto. Model reference 2700.56.11.1391.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
This range of watches were launched at the Basel Watch Fair in March 2016, where ABlogtoWatch reviewed them (which you can read here). This watch is likely to be in the first year of production, but we can not guarantee exactly when. The model is still available from Eterna here at $1,950.
CONDITION
The watch has very light marks on the bezel, but looking at the original strap this watch can not have been worn much. That original strap has one of the nicest buckles we have ever seen, bearing the 5 ball bearing logo of Eterna (Eterna patented the use of ball bearings on the oscillating weight for automatic movements, hence their logo.) The watch wears larger that 40mm, as it is all dial. This watch uses a 26 jewel Sellita SW200 movement, which is nicely decorated and visible via the sapphire crystal caseback. We do not have the box and papers for this, but it is a third of the new price.
