The SeaGull 1963 Chronograph has become a bit of a modern classic, with the vintage looks, 37mm case and colourful hands.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

The watches were launched, or more accurately relaunched, in 2011.  There is an excellent article here from the launch describing the options at the time, as well as the development of the watch.  This watch has the acrylic crystal, 21 jewel movement and solid steel case back of the earliest models.

CONDITION

The watch is in very good order, and comes complete with the original tin.  The olive green Nato strap may be a later replacement, or it might be original – there is no markings on it.  The dial is a light silver/gold colour, the applied markers in gold finish and the hands are blue except for the chronograph centre seconds in red.  The large winding crown looks great next to the pump pusher chronograph buttons, and is easy to use.   A very inexpensive vintage looking chronograph.

This watch will be supplied with the original tin and our Certificate of Authenticity.
