You very rarely find modern Breitling watches in the condition of this Cockpit Galactic. Model reference A49350.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
While the papers are not dated there are plenty of references online and in books to show this model was around in 2010 or thereabouts.
CONDITION
We have previously sold this watch when it was NOS. Since then the case back sticker has been removed and the watch was worn a few times, but the customer wanted to free up funds for something else so it is unexpectedly reoffered for sale. The photos and videos are from the original sale, as the watch is in the same condition but with the case back sticker now loose.
Original description below;
Galactic refers to the big date feature on this model, not the case size. At this point in time some Breitling cases were supersized, 46mm+ and not very comfortable to wear for any period of time. But at 41mm this will fit into many peoples sweet spot. Everything we have for this watch is matched, even down to the outer box and plastic bag holding the instruction book and chronometer certificate. The watch itself has the very lightest storage marks, but still has the case back sticker in place with barcode – this is why we haven’t taken a movement photo, as we will disturb that sticker. The movement is Breitling’s calibre 49, COSC certified and with 22 jewels. The leather strap is unworn save for photos, and complete with the signed buckle.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, outer box, chronometer certificate, instruction book, hang tag and our Certificate of Authenticity.
