HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Whilst we don’t have the original papers for this watch, we have found the same model for sale (at significantly more expense) with papers dated for 2004. It is highly likely this watch was made at a similar time.
CONDITION
Dior are very unusual in the watch industry, as they focus mainly on women’s watches . There are men’s watches in their range, but we have never seen one in the flesh. This is the larger, 25mm diameter watch and the latest version of this watch is available from Dior here, and the cost is £6,300. You get a stainless steel bracelet and case, and diamonds set in the bezel, dial and around the crown. The patterned Tahitian mother of pearl dial though probably outshines the diamonds, and being a natural material it does mean you will never find another watch identical to this. Inside you have a set and forget ETA Swiss quartz movement, and we will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The bracelet is quite short, so this would only suit a petite wrist without any extra links being purchased separately. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. The watch is signed on the dial, case, crown, crystal, buckle and strap.
