This manual wind, slim Jules Audemars rose gold watch is as discrete as the Royal Oak Overseas is loud. Model reference 15056OR/O/0067CR/01.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We don’t have the paperwork for this watch, but we have found the same model in the 2001 Wristwatch Annual. It didn’t appear in the 2002 version, or the 1999 version.
CONDITION
Audemars Piguet celebrate their 150th anniversary this year, and were founded by Jules Audemars (Edward Piguet joined six years later). The Jules Audemars line of dressier watches has been running for about 25 years now. Quality has never been compromised at AP, and this watch is fine example of that. Both the case and the buckle are 18k rose gold. The glass is sapphire crystal on both the front and back, and that exhibition case back shows off the manual wind, slim calibre 3090. This 21 jewel movement has hand finishing as you would expect, so it is nice to be able to see it working away. The red/purple AP signed strap is worn beyond safe use, so we have changed it for a new leather strap that can be exported under CITES rules. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement, crown and buckle.
This watch will be supplied with an Audemars Piguet service case, and our Certificate of Authenticity.
This watch has been checked against the Watch Register and has not been reported as lost, stolen or implicated in fraud, and a copy of that certificate will also be included.
