A scarce Yema Adventurer, model number YE456, fitted with a quartz alarm movement in a divers style. In great condition.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Yema are a French watchmaking brand that were founded in 1948. They were bought by Seiko in 1988, and this watch has a Pulsar (also owned by Seiko) YR34A movement. Information on Yema models is scarce, but as the company was bought back into French ownership in 2005 we believe this watch was produced circa 1999. If you know more then please do contact us.
CONDITION
The watch is in wonderful condition and fully working. The alarm, set by the crown at 4, beeps rather than rings like say a Seiko Bellmatic. There is an indicator on the dial above 6 that shows if the alarm is set – the dot turns red if the alarm is on. The dial is in perfect order, with the nice red, white and yellow highlights and the second hand hits the markers nicely. The bezel rotate in just one direction with a stiff click, and still has its lume plot at 12. The case is solid stainless steel and the rubber strap is new.
