This Parsifal is the smaller case size, but still has that superb bracelet. Model reference 9571.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
The Parsifal range was launched in 1991, named after Wagner’s opera. This long model life does make it very hard to date the individual models, but we have a photo of a very similar model in the 1997 Guide to good watches.
CONDITION
Seven years after the Parsifal was first launched, International Watch magazine still named the bracelet as the second best on the market (the winner was a £10,000 Hermes watch). The Parsifal range is still available today, with the signature bracelet (but in a 41mm case now). You can see more on the models at Raymond Weil’s website, and the new price is £1,195. The case size on this watch is best described as unisex, as the bezel eats into the dial size – we have photographed it on male and female wrists to helps give you a perspective. The photos show the bezel with some marks on the left hand side – please ignore those as they are just smudges and they have been cleaned off. Everything is working correctly, including the quick set date, and there is no damage to speak of. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The bracelet is quite long and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required. Measuring the bracelet is crucial, as the watch can not be worn on a leather strap. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.
