This bi metal Maurice Lacroix Les Classiques has the box and even several spare links for the bracelet. Model reference 92169.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
The paperwork should make this easy, but it has a slightly different model number written on it. It could be a mistake by the jeweller at time of the sale, or it may be that the papers have been mixed up since. However circa 1996 is still a strong contender as a likely year of production.
CONDITION
The Les Classiques line has an integrated bracelet. While these are very comfortable, they can not be swapped for a different bracelet or a leather strap, as the fixing to the watch is unique. So the first thing to check is the length of the bracelet, which is good and the extra four links should mean it fits everyone. The movement used is branded Maurice Lacroix, but is an otherwise standard ETA 7 jewel 955.414 – a solid quartz movement used by a wide range of brands in the 1990’s. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The case and bracelet have light marks which you would expect from being worn, but nothing you would describe as damage. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers (as described), four spare links for the bracelet and our Certificate of Authenticity.
