HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
While we can not find much information on this FS-00 model, we have found other Casio Databank watches from the mid nineties and not too long after that mobile phones became more popular. But in this time only a few had mobiles phones, so the data bank was useful.
For such a slim watch this has an awful lot of functionality. The time, day and date are shown on the home screen and this can be back light via the light function, best shown in the video. The Mode button scrolls through World Time, Data Bank (where you can store up to 30 telephone numbers) and stopwatch features. Thankfully the module 2090 instructions are available from Casio still here., so while you are unlikely to rely on needing the 30 telephone numbers you can set them if you want. All of this is encased in a very slim case, and futuristic design. The display is canted over 30 degrees, which is easy to read when wearing the watch but the mirrored face makes this very difficult to photograph head on – the video is a better indicator, as you can see the condition rather than reflections. The condition is excellent, with just the smallest of marks to the screen, and the strap looks unworn. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner.
