HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Rothmans took over as the main sponsor of the Williams Renault FW16 for the 1994 Formula 1 season, and remained the title sponsor until the end of the 1997 season. This watch would have been made between 1994 and 1997, a period where Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve both won World Championships.
CONDITION
This would have been a promotional watch at the time, and would never have been expensive. But if a watchfan is also a fan of Formula 1 then this could be a great treat for them. The watch is unworn and only has minor marks from sitting in the box. The quartz movement is fully working, and we will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
