This Jaeger LeCoultre Heraion Reveil chronograph, model 116.8.33, has the white dial, original bracelet and blue alarm pointer hand.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Comparing the serial number on the movement to other examples that still have the original paperwork we can date this watch to being made circa 1995.
EDIT: We have just manage to source the hardback brochures for 1993/94 and 1995/6. The watch appears in the earlier brochure, but not the later (albeit with a red alarm hand). The list price was £2,665
CONDITION
This complex watch includes a chronograph that counts up to 12 hours, an alarm and also a calendar, yet still is under 9mm thick. The watch is in great condition, with all features of the in house 27 jewel movement working correctly. The alarm is set and stopped via the signed crown at 10. The date has a quickset function. The chronograph snaps back to 12 perfectly. The bezel and dial only shows very slight marks when looking through a loupe, and the hands also show light corrosion. The bracelet has lost a few links over the years, but this watch can also take an 18mm leather strap (shown in some photos). The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.
This watch will be supplied with a Jaeger LeCoultre inner presentation box and cardboard outer box, and our Certificate of Authenticity.
