This divers TAG Heuer 2000 watch has a sweet and clean grey dial. Model reference 972.013
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the production stamp on the movement, combined with the 1989 catalogue, we can safely say this watch was made circa 1989.
CONDITION
Incredibly there were four different sizes for the 2000 model, and this is in the second largest case. The case is all stainless steel and has a unidirectional bezel, as a proper divers watch should have. And this was a proper divers watch, rated to 200M depth and with a screw down signed crown to prevent water ingress (although like all old watches you should never get them wet). The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath, and still has the original clasp with flip lock security and the wet suit extension pieces fitted. The movement is an ETA 7 jewel quartz, with quick set date, which is all working perfectly. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The dial is the thing that makes this – very clean lume plots against a flat grey colour really works.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
