A stylish ladies Tissot watch, with intricate patterns on the case and original bracelet.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Tissot stopped using serial numbers in 1983, coincidentally the first year this ETA movement was used. But the movement was available for about ten years, so we are just going on the styling, and that the Belle Epoque range was introduced in 1990 that would have replaced this model we believe.
CONDITION
The case and bracelet are very good, with few if any signs of significant wear to report. The glass does have a small scratch to the bottom right corner, with runs roughly in the same direction as the stripes on the dial. The dial itself is very clean, with rivet head hour markers at 3, 6, 9 and 12. The case is quite intricate, and as the highly enlarged photos show the gold plate wear far more than the human eye could detect. The original crown is signed with the Tissot T. The case back has a couple of slipped tool marks from previous battery changes, and the stainless steel back covers the 7 jewel ETA 978.002 quartz movement. A new battery will be fitted prior to the watch being sent out.
Please measure your wrist carefully, as we will not be able to extend this bracelet.
