This ladies Montine of Switzerland manual wind watch features a seventeen jewel movement and rope style bracelet.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Unfortunately we can not find the dates for the AS 577.301 movements production, so we are left to look for clues. AS movements were stopped being made in 1982/3, and by looking at advertising from the same period the style of this watch suits this time frame too. Currently we can not be more accurate than this.
The watch is in superb condition. The integrated bracelet and case have been in our ultrasonic bath for a deep cleanse, but hardly any dirt came out. That is a great indication that this watch was not worn often. The clasp also only has the finest of scratches and no wear to the gold plate, and as this is the part of any bracelet watch that usually shows the wear the most. The dial is mint, and the case just has light scratches on the sides as well as one dink in the bottom right corner. The bracelet does not have any kinks and can be fitted to different sized wrists easily without needing any tools.
This watch will be supplied with a presentation box and Certificate of Authenticity.
