Great bracelet, quality movement.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the Slava 2414 movement we can estimate the date of this watch at circa 1980.  This movement is a good design that allows a large balance wheel and twin barrels – very high spec for the period where most manufacturers had switched to cheap to make quartz movements.

CONDITION

This watch is reminiscent of the Zenith Respirator of the mid Sixties.  Made in the USSR, this is a cheap yet stylish watch.  The chrome case does have numerous marks on the edges, but on the wrist this isn’t seen much.  The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath so is ready to go.

SIZE

30.1mm wide including the slim crown, 8.7mm thick. Takes an 18mm strap.  The easily adjusted bracelet will fit a maximum wrist size of 200mm.
