HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
The module in this watch was launched in 1979, and the advertising we could find was all from 1980. We therefore think this watch was made circa 1980.
CONDITION
With the novel idea of running the seconds around the edge of the dial, this vintage digital chronograph sought to different. That display, shown in the video, also does the 1/10th seconds in the stopwatch function. Plus you have a full calendar, showing day, date and month. There is even a light, which is still working (but these are all very dim). Everything is working correctly, and we will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. We will also set the watch up to your timezone, unless you want to do that yourself. We show how in the video. The case and glass have a few marks, but not any that are terrible. The signed bracelet is quite long but isn’t the same as the one on fitted to the watch in the period advert so may be a later Casio bracelet. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.
