This New Old Stock (NOS) Buler has a decent movement and a very nice matte blue dial. Model reference 7022-23740.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Tissot used the same movement as found in this Buler, just rebadged as a Tissot 2030, between 1976 and 1982. It is likely that was the entire production date range for this movement so we have picked a mid point year for this watch.
CONDITION
NOS watches are always sought after by both collectors and TV/Film set production designers – if you are setting a drama in 1979 we can’t have a period correct watch showing 45 years of wear! The design of this watch is not dissimilar to some Omega Constellations of the time, but this would have been a cheaper alternative. The movement is a SSH 5500, a three jewel Swiss quartz movement with a couple of nice features. You can correct the time by pressing the crown inwards to set the seconds hand, or you can change the hour independently to the minute and seconds hand (ideal for travellers crossing time zones). We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The bracelet is quite long and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required.
