HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Normally Timex models have the date on the dial for this period, but not in this case. So we are comparing the PVD case with another Timex watch we have that is definitely from 1978.
CONDITION
The unpolished case is all in good shape, save for light wear on the edges. The bezel turns both ways without clicks, but this is a divers style watch in looks only – it was only rated as water resistant from new. The manual Timex 25B movement is running well, and the acrylic crystal is clean. The Condor leather strap is new. The hands and dial are in great condition, and is a good clear design.
SIZE
34.0mm wide including the crown, 10.9mm thick. Takes a 16mm strap. The watch does wear smaller than these figures suggest, because the bezel eats into the dial size
