This Longines Automatic men’s watch, with the original signed bracelet, is an interesting find
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to circa 1976 from movement. This L890.1 movement was first produced in 1975 and the serial number relates to c1976 production.
CONDITION
Very nice and highly original. signed on the crown, movement, caseback, dial and strap. There are two marks on the dial but they don’t detract too much from the overall appearance. The steel case and bracelet has been cleaned but not polished, as we prefer the case unpolished as it retains more value like this. The bracelet has been ultrasonically cleaned and is very large. This is quite a chunky watch for the period, and nice to be all stainless steel from a great Swiss brand.
