The last true Roamer? This Searock has the manual wind MST 521 movement inside, the last movement designed and made in house for this brand.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We know the MST 521 was only used between 1973 and 1976. No serial number database exists for Roamer watches, but we are happy to say this watch was made circa 1975.
CONDITION
Maybe the best available today. The gold plated case is almost perfect, the dial is better than the case! The original crown is still in place, as is the plastic cover over the movement that is often misplaced at service. The crystal shows a few light marks from storage, but we will polish this before being sent out. The MST in house movement is working well, including the quick set date and hacking functions. The strap is aged but looks unworn – possibly original? We can supply a new leather strap if you prefer. The case back still has most of the protection sticker in place.
This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
