This Longines Record certainly falls in the category of ‘find me another’, and this is New Old Stock (NOS).

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

Longines bought Record in 1961, so this certainly post dates this.  The movement, a Record 666, is recorded on Ranftt as circa 1975 and we have no reason to disagree with this dating.

CONDITION

We have had watches with pink dials before, and we have had purple dials, but never a combination of the two in an art nouveau style.  When combined with the elliptical case design this will be a love it or hate it design for most people, but we think there will be enough people who love it.  The Longines name guarantees quality, and new old stock watches are ever harder to find – this still has the hand tag on the strap, and the plastic protective cover on the case back.

This watch will be supplied with the original hang tag and our Certificate of Authenticity.

Please see the HD video for more detail.  All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned.  We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.
