This Longines Flagship has a interesting deep grey dial and very legible white hands. Model reference 4026.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
The serial number on the movement dates this to the 1970’s, but the movement used in this watch wasn’t launched until 1975, so we are going with that year.
CONDITION
Tank watches are coming back into vogue, and here you combine the great house of Longines, a manual wind movement and a good looking dial set within the stainless steel case. Not all is perfect – the dial has some light marks on the left hand side – but overall it looks very good on the wrist. The movement is the Longines 847.3, a seventeen jewel calibre that is wound via the signed crown. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour or material if preferred. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement, crown, and buckle.
