This manual wind Longines Flagship is a very good looking, slim dress watch with a movement befitting a flagship model. Model reference 4027-4.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in the 1970’s, and the movement used in this watch was not available until 1975. This watch may be a newer, but can not be older, than 1975.
CONDITION
This is a great value for money watch, which could easily pass for a far more expensive watch. You get an in house, 17 jewel manual wind calibre 847-3 movement that has micrometer adjustment on the balance – a high end feature that is difficult to find on modern watches. The blue dial looks great with the gold hands, and the gold plated case is in very good order and is also very slim at under 6mm. You have the original crown and buckle too. The blue strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour or material if preferred. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement, crown and buckle.
