Great condition vintage ladies Girard-Perregaux with original integrated bracelet, from one of the oldest watch makers (est. 1791). Model reference 9739 MA.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to circa 1975 from the styling and logo design only, as records for Girard-Perregaux are not complete. The movement production dates also tally with this estimate.
CONDITION
Very original. The case and bracelet are 20 micron gold filled and this shows no wear (see the photos for confirmation) One link on the bracelet if slightly bent and this is shown in the photos too – it is the second link underneath 6 and we mention it is only slightly bent! The original movement is a Girard-Perregaux 504, which is based on an FEF6631 and it is running well. Girard-Perregaux finish the ebauche in their usual high standard. The dial is very clean too, and the triple gold look is overall very appealing. A very nice piece and difficult to find.
