This Roamer Searock has the hacking automatic wind MST522 in house movement, the last movement Roamer made, and the constellation style bezel.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
The MST 522 was produced between 1973 and 1976, and we have seen reports of very similar models in the 1974 catalogues, so we think this watch was made circa 1974.
CONDITION
The watch is running well, and has a series of service marks inside the back case with the most recent being from 2015. The person that serviced it is a respected member of the BHI, and we bought the watch from him. The movement features a quick set date and hacking seconds, to allow fine time setting. The stainless steel case is in good condition, with just a slight scratch near four detracting. The constellation style bezel does have some wear, but still shines. The orange second hand really lifts the design.
This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
