This manual wind ladies Revue is completely unworn and still even has the protective film on the case back.  Model reference D61.

We do not have any documentation to indicate when this watch was made, but the movement used inside it was launched in 1970 so it has to be made after that.  Later versions of this movement have an N suffix, which this one doesn’t have.  We have searched the Basel yearbook, but that only starts from 1972 and this watch doesn’t appear in that.  So we are happy to say this watch was likely made circa 1971.

Revue were founded in 1905 and have a long association with Vulcain and Marvin, and later became Revue-Thommen.  This simple two handed watch has a nice stepped case which is coated with 20 microns of gold.  There is just the slightest of marks near the top lugs, otherwise it is difficult to fault.  The purple case back is the original sticker from new, which could be removed with nail varnish remover if you didn’t want you NOS watch to look NOS.  The movement is the FHF manual wind 69-21, which is working well.  The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
