This gold plated manual wind circa 1971 ladies Longines watch is running well having just been oiled. High quality, for a low price.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can date this watch to circa 1971. Longines movements at this time were not always used in chronological order.
CONDITION
The gold plated bark finish case and strap is all in good shape. We have removed the movement and cleaned the watch case and bracelet in our ultrasonic bath to ensure it is hygienic and ready to wear. The dial is clean and the crystal only has light scratches. The movement is running well and has been freshly oiled – this is a manually wound watch so will need daily winding or it will stop. However this makes it perfect for occasional use – no picking the watch up and finding the battery has run out. The original crown is signed.
SIZE
14.1mm wide including the signed crown, 8.4mm thick. The bracelet will fit a maximum wrist size of approximately 165 mm.
