A good looking men’s hand winding Ingersoll in very 1970’s colour schemes, available for not much money.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

The movement fitted in this watch was around in the early 1970’s.  We do not have any other evidence to be more specific in this instance.

CONDITION

Some watches are bought because they are horologically special, and others because they look good.  This Ingersoll falls into the latter category.  The Ronda 1213 movement is a basic pin pallet design, but it is working well enough.  Bu this will appeal to those who maybe want to add a brown dial watch to their collection, or those wanting to add a fun watch to their collection for not much money.  The gold tone case does have some wear and tear, and the case back that looks like it screws off actually clips on and off instead.  The acrylic crystal has a few marks too.  The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.  Ingersoll have a long history of making watches for the average working man, and doing them well.  You can read more about Ingersoll here.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
