This Technos Goldshield houses a quality ETA movement inside the all stainless steel case, and is larger than average for the time.

Technos registered the brand name Goldshield in April 1962, but the production dates of the movement are 1969 to 1982.  We can not be 100% certain, but we now think this watch was made circa 1970.

Most men’s watches in the 1960’s were around 33mm, so this watch would have been considered large for it’s time but that means it is more suitable for modern wrists.  The ETA 2750 was found in many quality watches, and this is no exception.  We have fitted a new black leather strap , but any other colour would work with this design too.  This is a Swiss made watch – modern Technos watches are assembled in Brazil using Citizen movements – and it will not surprise you that the Swiss watches are more sought after.  The dial is clean, with the applied T logo that is repeated on the crown.  We are unsure what the shield above Goldshield script represents.

This watch will be supplied with a presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
