The green dial on this Longines Admiral is a thing of beauty – if you disagree then throw away your eyes as they must be broken!
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Looking at the serial number on the movement, along with production dates for this calibre, we estimate this watch was made circa 1970.
CONDITION
The dial is the star of the show here without doubt, but the rest is quality too – this is a Longines Admiral after all. The movement is the Longines 507, with automatic winding and quick set date, which works by pushing the crown inwards. The case is a unibloc design, but with a rolled gold bezel which has fine patterning to it. With the hidden lugs you very much suspect this was a rival in period to the Omega Dynamic, but without the oval case and with more conventional hidden lugs, giving you more strap options. The green leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred. We have added a new Longines buckle to complete the look. But the emerald green dial is the main reason you have read this far, and it is in great condition.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon. By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
