HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the production dates of the movement, combined with the styling and logo design, we estimate this watch was made circa 1970.
CONDITION
This watch may only be in a 34 mm case, but it does wear larger due to it being all dial with a very thin bezel. The bold, applied numerals on the very clean dial really stand out. Inside the case is a seventeen jewel manual wind FHF 96 movement which winds and sets very well, and is even has decorated bridges despite not being in view. The movement also has shock protection, hence the Shockmaster name. This is not an expensive watch, but shows that there is still fun to be had on tighter budgets. The leather strap is new, as is the acrylic crystal, so this is ready to wear.
