with Avia box

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

We can date this to circa 1968 from the styling including the logo, and that the FHF69 movement fitted was made at this time.

CONDITION

The dial is close on perfect, and the watch is keeping good time.  The bracelet isn’t stamped Avia, but is definitely period and a quality item. It is rolled gold (much thicker than gold plate) and has a great adjustment tool – once the bracelet is undone the bracelet slides to the maximum size, but shuts to a great fit.  The acrylic crystal will be changed before the watch is sent out, and the bracelet will be cleaned in our ultrasonic cleaner.  The box came with this watch but might be from a different, earlier watch.

24.5mm wide including the crown, 8.6mm thick. Bracelet will fit 190mm wrists, or you could have a 20mm strap.
