A new old stock (NOS) ladies Elgin watch with original box and unfilled papers. Perfect condition and museum quality.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
The Swiss FHF based 799 movement only started production in 1966, and Elgin closed in 1968, so we are pretty confident that this watch was made circa 1967.
The watch is perfect. The 10k white gold filled watch bezel is set with three white stones at the top of the watch, but we do not know what they are. The stainless steel case back and bracelet are as new, and the bracelet has several expanding links near the clasp to ensure maximum comfort throughout the day. The clasp is also secured with a safety chain. A great chance to buy a 50 year old watch that is like new.
