Unusual patterned dial.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to circa 1963 from the Smiths catalogues. We have all the catalogues for the Astral production years except for 1963, and this model doesn’t appear in any of the other year’s catalogues.
CONDITION
The Hands and markers are all really good, especially the second hand with the red translucent end marker. The chromed case is good too, with just a slight scratch on the non crown side. The dial has an interesting geometric pattern on it that we have not seen before, with just a couple of marks showing. Fitted to a new leather strap.

34.3mm wide including the crown, 12.1mm thick. Takes an 16mm strap.
