This Le Cheminant Invincible is quite a scarce watch, but inside has a reliable Felsa 25 jewel automatic movement.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Le Cheminant watches are difficult to date, as little reference material is available publicly and the the production numbers were small. However, based on the movement production dates we estimate this watch was made circa 1960.
CONDITION
The watch presents well, but when you get close you can see some damage to the dial and some wear to the lug tips gold plate. These are far better in real life than in the enlarged photos, but we have priced this to take account of these. The Felsa 4007N movement is working well, and has the 12-9-12 method of quicksetting the date. The hands still have the lume in place, although tritium doesn’t last long so don’t expect it to still glow. We have replaced the acrylic crystal and added a new leather strap with gold tone buckle.
