This Junghans Trilastic is in fantastic condition, and features the original dial.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

The production of this in house movement used in this watch ran from 1954-1966, but as this dial has radium lume which wasn’t really used from 1955 then this watch has to be circa 1954.

CONDITION

Junghans were founded in 1861, and by 1903 they were the largest watch and clock manufacturer in the World.  Promoting yourself as The German watch, as they do now, wasn’t as popular in the post war world, so no country of manufacture is on the dial.  The dial is in great original condition, and difficult to fault.  The red seconds hand may be a later replacement – other ones we have seen have faded orange hands, but maybe they have faded from red?  The red certainly works better, as the date wheel in in red.  The date can be quickset using the 24-22-24 method, and the rest of the Junghans 93.1 manual wind movement works very well too.

This watch will be supplied with a presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
