A very clean circa 1952 Rotary men’s dress watch, with white quartered dial and sub seconds display.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to circa 1952 from the movement date, logo design and in comparison to a hallmarked 9kt gold Rotary that is stylistically very similar.
CONDITION
The hairline quartered dial is wonderful, and the gold plated case only shows the smallest signs of wear. The case is a little larger than most of this period, and may have been considered oversized at the time. The Swiss AS1123 manual wind mechanical movement is running sweetly, with sweep sub seconds. we have fitted a new leather band and polished the small scratches out of the crystal so it is ready to enjoy. We doubt you will find a nicer one.
