This Felca Shock Resist has some charm and an ETA movement inside.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We have an advert from 1950 that features a very similar design, and this date also matches the styling and movement production.
CONDITION
The dial is very good, with small amounts of damage if you look closely but it is very legible. It is nice that it is not smoke damaged like so many of this period. The case is good, in a matt gold finish, and the double curved crystal is fine too. The crown does sit proud of the case, but is fully working and easy to wind. The strap is a nice match, but can be changed for a black leather strap is preferred – just request it at checkout. The ETA 1080 movement is running to within a minute or two a day. The case size would have been a gent’s watch back then, but now is best described as unisex.
This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
