With sub seconds
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to circa 1949 from the styling. The earliest service mark is 1959, but sub second watches were no longer in fashion by then.
Original but worn. The stainless steel case shows various small scratches and dings, but not abuse. The hour and minute hand are blue, and the movement is a treat on the eye. Girard Perregaux have been making high end watches since 1791, and this is no exception.
25.2mm wide including the recessed crown, 8.1mm thick. Takes an 10mm strap.
