HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the paperwork we can see this watch was sold in August 2021. The model was only launched in November 2020, so there are few pre owned watches on the market at the moment.
CONDITION
Being such a currently model there are plenty of reviews online for the Super Sea Wolf GMT – here is one from A Blog to Watch and another here from WatchGecko.
When the supply of ETA movements dried up, Zodiac switched to the Soprod C125 movement that adds a GMT function in the same case size. It feels good, and has the advantage of quick set date and GMT hand. In case you are new to GMT watches, the red hour hand normally is set to the same time as the main hands, but only makes a full rotation every 24 hours (as apposed to hour hands that make a dial rotation every twelve hours). However you can set the red hand independently if you were travelling, and you can also turn the bezel in 30 minute increments to track three separate time zones if you are really testing yourself. The only negative to this watch is the bracelet has some scratches, pointed out in the video, but otherwise it is excellent.
