This new Jazzmaster has an interesting regulator complication, where the hands don’t all meet in the middle. Model reference H42615743
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We bought this watch new on September 2021.
This watch has only been worn for photography, so is in perfect condition. It is not an easy watch to photograph though – the light changes make the dial look several different colours, but we would describe the main dial as slate blue/grey and the subdials as a shade more blue. The Jazzmaster regulator watch is still available new, but with a white dial, at £995 and you can see the specifications on Hamilton’s website here.
A regulator clock was often found in watchmakers workshops, and the design means the hands are easier to precisely read as they don’t cover each other up as they cross over each other. There is an article here that explains more, and includes the Hamilton Jazzmaster as one of their choices for best regulator watches too.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation boxes, blank papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
Please see the HD video for more detail. All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned. We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.
