HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the completed guarantee paperwork, which matches the serial number on the case back, we can accurately date this watch to being sold in March 2021.
CONDITION
If you are reading this to find out why a Seiko is so much money, you may be new to Grand Seiko. Established in 1960, Grand Seiko was the parent companies idea to build a watch to the best possible standards of quality and accuracy. You could argue that this watch looks like a £400 SARB033, or that it look like this Grand Seiko at £54,190. Grand Seiko watches are for those people who really respect quality of design and execution of build, but maybe do not want to show off their wealth and ‘status’.
This particular model is still available new from Seiko at £3,500. We only have one, which has been worn very rarely and only once on the bracelet. Everything is finished to the highest standards on these watches, and the automatic movement has a 72 hour power reserve. The only small marks on this watch are on the non crown side of the case, pointed out on the video. Some of the photos are taken on a generic black leather strap that is not included in the sale.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers, hangtag and our Certificate of Authenticity.
